Part-time Studio Assistant:

Working Thursday Afternoon 1-5pm & Friday 9.45-5pm (more shifts may be available in future, some evening working from time to time).

You should be outgoing and helpful, and happy working with the wide range of customers that love Jackrabbits. We need confident people who work hard, can carry out tasks quickly and efficiently, and have the sort of “get on with it” attitude that is essential in our busy studio.

 

Jobs range from serving food and drinks to washing tables and paintbrushes, from using the till to taking bookings for parties and groups, from decorating sample pieces of pottery to cleaning the toilet! We will provide training across all tasks, but need people that are happy when things are hectic and will find useful things to do when things are quiet.

You should be keen to work with children and particularly babies, as we will train you in taking hand and footprints. We will also need you to develop writing and decoration skills to add details to printed items.

​

Positions start at Living/Minimum wage (age dependent), with holiday allowance based on statutory holiday allowance (calculated pro rata depending on hours). Some holiday will be compulsory (Christmas closing and seasonal holidays).
