Paint your own pottery studio
Open every day at 10am (11am Sunday) until 5pm (6pm Thursday & Saturday)
SUMMER CLOSING - we will close at 6pm on Saturday 17th August, and re-open at 10am on Tuesday August 27th
How much does it cost?
The cost varies depending on which piece of pottery you choose. We have a selection of over 100 pieces ranging from £6 to £44, so there really is something for everyone!
Our prices include the pottery, instruction, paint & tools, glazing and firing. We do not have a studio fee!
Do I need to book?
You're welcome to drop in anytime, but we'd recommend always giving us a call first. Booking is definitely recommended.
You will always need to book for any of our print services, and these are not available at weekends or during school holidays.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
We do! They're available in £10, £15 or £20.
Can I bring my own food?
If you've booked our party room, or you're coming to an evening event then you're welcome to bring food. At other times we ask that you don't bring your own food and drink, unless it is for your baby.
How long does it take?
It depends on several things: how big the item is, how detailed a design you're painting, and how quickly you paint.
We run two-hour sessions at busy times (weekends and school holidays), but outside that you're welcome to take as long as you need. If you don't manage to finish your piece in one session, you're welcome to arrange to pop back!
When do I get my pottery back?
It takes a week for us to prepare, glaze, and fire your pottery. If anything is going to take longer than that, we'll send you a text.
We look after your pottery for up to three months, but sadly any uncollected pottery will be disposed of after that time.
How long to you store my pottery before I have to collect it?
We'll keep your pottery in our studio for two months, then send you a text to let you know it is going to be moved off site. If it still hasn't been collected after a further month, sadly it will be disposed of.
What if something goes wrong?
Unfortunately, there is a small risk that your pottery item may be damaged in the firing process.
This is beyond our control, but we understand how disappointing it can be. If you decide not to keep the item we'll give you the option of a full refund, or another visit to the studio to paint the same item again, free of charge.
Can my items be posted to me?
Sadly we've stopped offering to post peoples' items to them, after a couple of unhappy experiences.
